Professional career

The trained master bicycle mechanic and business administration graduate obtained his Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in 2024. He has been involved in general data processing, better known today as IT information technology, since 1978. In 1992, he led his first project for the automated collection and evaluation of machine data – now known as OT integration or Industry 4.0. He integrated non-IT systems such as air conditioning systems, escalators, elevators, people separation systems and fire alarm systems as well as motor sports vehicles into various network and system management systems, such as Unicenter TNG from CA. In 2003, he again focused on data analytics. As early as 1988 and 1989, he taught SPSS Advanced Statistics as a Cologne business administration student and co-lecturer at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms University in Bonn and used SPSS for customer satisfaction analyses at a management consultancy in Cologne and Paris.

Your interim CIO was involved on a voluntary basis as founder, president and chairman of the International Unicenter Usergroups Association (IUUGA) and the German-speaking Unicenter User Group (DUUG).
