Taskforce-Defence is a loose consortium of legally and economically independent consultants. It is not a company, an association, or a law firm. Each consultant works exclusively in their own name, on their own account, and at their own risk.
I am a co-founder and member of this network. My own services as an interim CIO include cyber defense, digital sovereignty, NIS2, and VS-NfD. For other topics, I’d be happy to recommend suitable specialists whom you can then engage independently of me.

Clarification

Independence
The independence of each participant is not a secondary consideration, but rather the foundation of this network.
Each consultant runs their own business under their own name and business name.
Each contract is entered into with exactly one designated consultant as the sole contractor.
Each consultant handles their own billing exclusively. There is no joint account and no joint invoice.
Each consultant is solely liable for his or her own services and maintains his or her own professional liability insurance.
Independence
Transparency from the initial inquiry through to the contract, so you always know who you’re dealing with.
1
Please describe your project to me. If it falls within my area of expertise—”cyber defense, digital sovereignty, NIS2, VS-NfD, IT/OT convergence, data analytics”—I will provide you with my own personalized proposal.
2
I will provide you with the names of one or more independent consultants from the Taskforce-Defence referral network whose areas of expertise align with your project. A referral is non-binding and does not create any obligation on your part.
3
You will evaluate the recommended advisor yourself and, if you wish, enter into your own contract directly with him or her. I am not a party to this contract and will not be your contracting party.
4
The retained consultant provides services in his or her own name and bills you directly. He or she alone is liable for these services.
Clear Transparency Regarding Compensation
If I recommend a consultant from the Taskforce-Defence referral network to you and a contract is subsequently concluded between you and that consultant, I will receive a referral fee from the consultant —not from you—amounting to a maximum of 10% of the consultant’s fee revenue from this engagement. I will invoice this fee separately to the consultant. This will not result in any additional costs for you, nor will it increase your consulting fees. I am disclosing this so that you can properly understand the context of my recommendation.
Topics in the Taskforce-Defence Recommendation Network
The consultants in the network each cover the following topics within their respective areas of expertise. This is an overview of potential contacts, not a joint list of services offered.
Each of these topics is handled independently by one or more independent consultants.
We’ll discuss which consultant is best suited for your needs during our conversation.
My Services
As an independent interim CIO, I offer my services in my own name and on my own account. My areas of expertise include cyber defense, cybersecurity, and cyber resilience; the implementation of digital sovereignty, NIS2, and VS-NfD; and IT/OT convergence.
Over 45 years of IT experience gained from more than 200 projects completed internationally. What I have developed through my work on these projects is documented in practical guides.

The term “Taskforce-Defence” refers to a loose referral network of legally and economically fully independent consultants and companies. There is no corporation, no partnership, no law firm, and no other legal entity. There is no joint business operation, no common fund, no joint account, and no power of mutual representation. No participant acts on behalf of another or is liable for another’s services, commitments, or obligations. Contracts are concluded exclusively and directly between the client and the individual consultant engaged in each case. This website does not constitute an offer by “Taskforce Defence,” but rather provides information about the services offered by Dr. Claus Michael Sattler as well as topics for which independent contacts can be identified within the referral network.
