Taskforce-Defence: The expert network for the defense market.

A group of highly specialized experts who are familiar with two worlds: leadership roles in industry and leadership roles in the German Armed Forces, NATO, or civil protection. We share our professional expertise. And we refer clients to one another when a client needs a specialist whose expertise goes beyond what any one individual can provide.

The Idea

Two worlds. One network.

The defense market requires expertise that is hard to find. The experts at Taskforce-Defence combine all of that expertise in a single person.

From the Industry

Top Executives and Interim Managers

Every member of the network holds an operational role in the business world—as a board member, CEO, advisory board member, supervisory board member, or interim manager. They know firsthand the pressures of projects, budgets, and deadlines.

From the defense

Leadership in the German Armed Forces, NATO, and Civil Protection

At the same time, every member of the network currently holds or has held leadership positions in the military or in the field of disaster response. They have an inside understanding of structures, procurement, and security requirements.

It is precisely this dual expertise that makes the network’s members valuable to companies, headhunters, and one another. Anyone looking to enter the defense market needs people who speak both languages.

How We Work Together

Exchange and recommendation—nothing more.

The network is based on two simple ideas. The first is the exchange of professional expertise. The second is making referrals when a client needs a specialist.

First,

We share ideas

The members of the network know and respect one another and share their expertise. This interdisciplinary exchange among experienced specialists is the very heart of the network. It costs customers nothing and imposes no obligations on anyone.

Second,

We recommend each other

If a client needs an expert in a field that I don’t cover myself, I refer them to a suitable expert from my network. The expert acts independently, on their own account, and assumes their own liability. It’s a referral among professionals, much like a piece of good advice among colleagues.

The Process of a Recommendation

Transparency from the initial inquiry to the contract

So that you always know who you’re dealing with and who is responsible for what.

1

They appeal to me

Please describe your project to me. If it falls within my area of expertise—”cyber defense, digital sovereignty, NIS2, VS-NfD, IT/OT convergence, data analytics”—I will provide you with my own personalized proposal.

2

If it's outside my area of expertise, I recommend

I will recommend one or more independent experts from the network whose areas of expertise align with your project. With your consent, I will put you in touch with them. This recommendation is non-binding and does not obligate you to anything.

3

You make the decision and hire the expert directly

You will evaluate the recommended expert yourself and, if you wish, enter into your own contract directly with him or her. I am not a party to this contract and will not be your contracting party.

4

The expert performs his or her work independently

The hired expert works in his own name and on his own account. He alone is liable for his services. You should discuss all details directly with him.

There is no three-way relationship. The contract is between you and the expert you hired exclusively. I simply made a recommendation—nothing more.
