In my role as head of the Charité Telemedicine Center, I was in professional contact with Mr. Sattler during the SOS project, among other things. This project involved us at the Charité developing a mobile communication system for the rescue of an injured employee from an offshore wind turbine in the North Sea as part of telemedicine, which enables communication between a first rescuer and a doctor on land.

Our aim was to automatically transcribe the conversations with the first rescuers on the wind turbine and the doctors on land during the rescue operation. Mr. Sattler’s great expertise and very practical advice were very relevant for our team and the further development of the project. I look forward to working with Mr. Sattler on future projects in the areas of digital transformation, Medicine 4.0 and telemedicine.
