Initial situation

The last Hannover Messe from 30.05.2022 to 2.06.2022 showed it. Everyone is talking about digitalization, digital transformation, Industry 4.0 and the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), but companies are not being offered any solutions. In Europe, and especially in Germany, we are a long way from real solutions, as is customary on the global market.

Competition with foreign providers pushing into the established market in Germany, Europe and worldwide will intensify significantly. As a result, healthy hidden champions in the SME sector could become genuine takeover candidates.

This development presents entrepreneurs and companies with greater challenges than previously anticipated.

Task now

If entrepreneurs have coped well with the changing situations so far, they will probably soon have to expect a much tougher situation and manage the company in a completely different, data-driven way. A large part of the existing IT systems and OT systems, as well as the data obtained from them across all departments, would then have to be vertically IT-integrated, i.e. the data would have to be compatible/homogenized with each other.
